Working with nearly 1,800 children across Kirkintilloch’s 8 Primary Schools, Your Kirky created our own Rainbow of Hope in December 2020. The project gave all the children an opportunity to paint a stone as part of a large scale rainbow which was displayed in Regent Gardens until 2022 when it was relocated to the newly redeveloped Townhead Square Community Space.
The project aimed to be a symbol of hope in the town at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and was covered in national media and commended in the Scottish Parliament.
